Greg Romein



Gregory Romein co-founded Swilo, which is a mobile application raising micro-donations for non-profits with two friends from Seattle University in 2012 with the goal of making Anyone with a dollar a philanthropist. Greg is the pitch man for Swilo and has presented at the Seattle University Business Plan Competition in 2012 where they received the Special Recognition Award for $1,000. He also presented at the Ashoka Seattles Youth Venture, and placed 2nd in the University level at the Social Innovation Fast Pitch receiving the Ashoka Award for $2,000. Currently Greg is a junior at Seattle University where he is pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Strategic Communications and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Prior to Swilo Greg has worked for Schuchart/Dow as a laborer renovating the Historic Lynwood Center on Bainbridge Island. He has also been a counselor at Islandwood, which is a 255-acre outdoor learning center designed to provide exceptional learning experiences for children, graduate students, teachers, families, and adults.
